Cruellest Month Poetry Festival - April 2010
April 5, 12, 19, and 26 / 6:30 PM to 8:30PM
The 5th Annual Cruellest Month Reading and Performance series is upon us. In April 2010, the BCPL at Towson will generously lend us their space and resources.
Furniture Press, in partnership with the Towson ARTS Collective, has curated this Poetry series at the Towson ARTS Collective galleries, the French Press Café, and this year, we have partnered with the Towson Public Library, further emphasizing our obligation to contribute creative and educational energy to the community and its businesses. Ultimately, our goal is to awaken the world to the underside of a culture that is too often relegated to the margins of representation and acknowledgment. In other words, our mission is to unite people who are connected by a common cause: poetry. And what better way to celebrate poetry than with a month long festival! If you have any questions please contact Christophe Casamassima at cacasama@towson.edu.
