Phil started his publishing company with $30 in 1970 at the age of 16 and has written, illustrated and published more than 87 books of his own and another 50 from other authors on a variety of subjects. He also published one of the most successful art newspapers in the world called Uncle Jam from 1973 to 1991 in Southern California and is now bringing Uncle Jam back as a quarterly magazine.
Phil has a wide range of experience in television, radio, animation, licensing and book publishing. He owned his own gallery in Long Beach for 11 years and another in Lompoc for 5 years.
