Opening April 2026, Solo gallery space will be dedicated to presenting focused, immersive solo exhibitions by invited artists. Each exhibition features one artist for a two-month period, offering visitors the opportunity to engage deeply with a cohesive body of work in a spacious, thoughtfully presented environment.

Solo gallery is invitation-only and curatorially driven. The program emphasizes intentional presentation, sustained visibility, and meaningful connection between artists, collectors, and the community.

Sales & Commission

Solo gallery does not charge exhibition or wall fees. The gallery sustains the program through a 40% commission on artwork sales, with 60% of sales returned to the artist.

The gallery supports each exhibition through:

• Promotional support via Towson Arts Collective’s email lists, social media, and community outreach

• Opening reception coordination

• Sales processing and customer support

• Staffed gallery hours during the exhibition period

Each Solo gallery exhibition includes a modest catalog documenting the show. Catalogs typically include:

Installation & Deinstallation

Artists are responsible for the installation and deinstallation of their work, with scheduling coordinated by the gallery. Solo gallery does not provide professional installation or deinstallation services. Clear guidelines and timelines will be provided in advance to ensure a smooth and successful exhibition experience.

Artists set retail prices in consultation with the gallery, with an expectation of consistent pricing across platforms. All sales during the exhibition are handled by the gallery, with artist payments issued on a clear and transparent schedule.
